In-Home Family Session // Mount Washington, Los Angeles

Sometimes a newborn session in the first few weeks after you deliver just doesn’t work out. Just because you may have missed the 5-14 day window, don’t think you won’t be able to still get wonderful family photos with your new bundle. While newborns are so cute and cozy, I absolutely adore photographing little ones when they get a tad bit older; they can smile, make eye contact and maybe even grab toy and give us a giggle or two!

This sweet family invited me to their beautiful home in the hills of Los Angeles with the most spectacular natural light. Their little man just turned 12 weeks and gave me some of the biggest smiles ever. And the icing on the cake, their pups are already so in love with their new little brother!

Fresh 48 Session // Huntington Memorial Hospital, Pasadena

My mid-year resolution is that I’m going to try and be better about blogging! This little boy is about to turn 1 next month and while planning his cake smash session, I was reminiscing about how quickly this year has flown by.

I first learned how to work with newborns as a photographer for a company at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena (my hometown). My first job out of college was there, I had my own son there and both my husband and I were born at this hospital! Walking through the halls always makes me think of how many new and growing families I have met at this place!

Enjoy a peak at this little guy’s Fresh 48 Session!

Baby Charlotte

I was so thrilled when this sweet family asked me to come take photos of the newest addition to their family! Baby Charlotte makes this a family of four. At their in-home session, we were able to get some great sleepy posed photos and then had tons of fun taking photos of the whole family. Big sister was so excited to give her new little sis lots of hugs and kisses.
